Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TrovaMoney (the "Service"), operated by PNM ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TrovaMoney is a personal and household expense-tracking application that lets you log expenses and income, set budgets, track credit card cycles, and view spending analysis. It is a manual record-keeping tool — it does not connect to your bank accounts, move money, or provide financial, investment, or tax advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement to use TrovaMoney. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or attempt to misuse the Service

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial period (currently 3 days) with full access to the Service, no payment method required. At the end of the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. If you do not subscribe, your account and access to the app will be paused, but your data is retained so you can subscribe later without losing your history.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• TrovaMoney offers Monthly and Yearly subscription plans, billed in advance on a recurring basis
• Prices are shown in INR at checkout and are subject to change with notice; existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next renewal
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app (Settings → Subscription)
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then, and you will not be charged again after cancelling
• We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods; see our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details

7. Your data and content

• You retain ownership of all data you enter into TrovaMoney (expenses, income, notes, etc.)
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter
• You may export a full copy of your data at any time
• If you invite others to a shared household, you are responsible for ensuring you have their consent to share financial information with them through the Service

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data - Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure - Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service without our written permission

9. Disclaimers

TrovaMoney is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it constitutes financial, tax, or investment advice. Decisions you make based on data or analysis shown in the app are your own responsibility.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PNM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or financial decisions made based on the Service.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms or modify the Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
